How do I choose a reference photo?

Tap the photo-library button at the edge of the camera controls, then select an image. Duplis centers and crops it to the active camera stage.

How do I change overlay opacity?

Swipe up or down on the viewfinder while a reference is visible. The temporary readout shows the current opacity between 10% and 90%.

How do I use Alignment mode?

Select a reference, then turn on the alignment helper from the camera controls. Follow the live movement cue until the frames settle into place. Strong texture and a reference taken from a similar position produce the best result.

Why is 0.5× unavailable?

Ultra-wide zoom appears only when the current iPhone and camera configuration support it. Pinch on the viewfinder to move smoothly through the available zoom range.

Will the reference be saved in my new photo?

No. The reference is a viewfinder guide only and never appears in the captured image.

Why does Duplis need photo access?

Access is used to let you select a reference and save captures. Duplis does not upload or analyze your library on a server.
